Program: The City of Toronto offers

purchase of a City-selected water-efficient
model.

ecoENERGY Retrofit: Conduct an
energy evaluation on your home and
receive a grant for undertaking recommended
energy efficiency
improvements. Average grants are
$1,000 but can go as high as $5,000.

Retail Sales Tax Rebate on Solar
Energy Systems: Ontario residents
can claim a refund of the 8% PST paid
on new solar energy systems, including
solar photovoltaic and solar
thermal (hot water) systems.

Rebate: Purchase a high-efficiency frontloading
washer (or select high-efficiency
